Tender Mercies in the TKM: Alani and Juliana

Sister Bundy, Sister Knight, and Sister Claridge were visiting members of the congregation that they hadn’t met yet when they stumbled across the Decker family. It was a sunday afternoon and their lesson had just fallen through, so they decided to go stop by to visit. The Deckers let them right in and through them. They met their two granddaughters, Juliana and Alani.

Juliana and Alani had been to church a few times and had even gone on a youth camping trip the year before, but had never been baptized. In their first missionary lesson, they accepted a baptismal date for February 15th, 2026. They were so excited!

When Alani and Juliana were baptized they said they felt the Spirit more in their life. It has helped them feel more calm. Alani even said the Gift of the Holy Ghost has helped her to be more nonchalant. They were able to go to the temple for the first time on March 7th, 2026. They are excited to continue learning more about the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout their life.
