Prince was found by Elder O’Brien and Elder Hathaway who were inviting students to church on the University of Tennessee campus in Knoxville. The missionaries noticed his iconic cobra necklace and connected with him. He came to church, but unfortunately was returning to Nashville for winter break. He lost contact with the missionaries over this period of time.
However, Elder Cloward and Elder Phillips reconnected with Prince and started teaching him the Doctrine of Christ and the other missionary lessons. Prince’s faith began to grow. He read the Book of Mormon each night with the elders, and through this gained a testimony of its truth. With that came the confidence to be baptized in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
After attending church weekly, praying daily, and studying the Book of Mormon each day, Prince overcame all challenges he faced. He was baptized on March 29, 2025 as a member of the Knoxville YSA Branch.
