Malorie has a friend name Brock who is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He introduced her to the church and gave her a Book of Mormon. When he invited her to church, Malorie decided to accept Brock’s invitation. When the missionaries learned she had been coming to church for a few months, they sent her a message and set up a time to meet with her. As Malorie was taught about the restored gospel of Jesus Christ, she felt a stronger desire to follow His example.
A huge factor in Malorie’s progress was the great members of the Hixson ward and the many new friends that supported her. The Tobler family has really made her feel welcome. She took the invitation from her friend Brock to come to church and read the Book of Mormon. Malorie ended up attending Girl’s Camp and FSY with the youth of the ward, and she said these youth camps really helped her grow her faith and testimony in our Savior Jesus Christ.
Malorie was baptized on July 5, 2024 surrounded by her new church family. Everything is going great for her. She has great supporters who are willing to help her make and keep these sacred covenants with God.
